This is an outstanding timber, hunting, or recreational property just south of Elizabethtown, Glendale and Sonora, KY. The tracts below have some cleared home sites and are within a reasonable distance to electric/phone service. More adjoining land available.
The is hands-down one of the best hunting properties in Kentucky. Perfect for building a homestead or two where you can walk out your back door to one of the best hunting areas in the state!
This farm is in Upton, Hardin County, KY, off George Tabb Rd, and is one of the best by far. It's like a peninsula of woods surrounded by open fields for miles in the general area. It is a complete dream for the serious hunter. Several food plots (shown on map) were installed several years ago, and most all bucks have been passed for at least 8+ years and barely hunted. This farm has always produced outstanding trophy Whitetail deer, and even a 3-bearded gobbler.
Timber was lightly logged 5-6 years ago to make sure it doesn't get too thick, but has cover in spots and food for deer and turkey. There is a good amount of timber value currently and growing fast in these great soils making this an outstanding timber investment. It's not a "steep" property at all and at one time had many more fields (now cedar thickets). It's accessed by a deeded graveled easement road.
This property is a dream. I recently hunted here and saw 18 gobblers in a 1 acre food plot. Big bucks everywhere. It's just ridiculous! There are a couple of buck pics below from the 2019 season, and one harvested recently in the 2021 season.
Access is along private graveled roads off of George Tabb Rd, Upton, KY.
*All tracts are currently pending divisions/stakes, and may change slightly. An extended contract may be required to complete work / legal descriptions.
Tract 1, 11.4 Acres -$79,900: This tract contains a cleared potential home site at the entrance closest to electric. It has a perfect mix of thickets and open hardwoods. The bottom ground is an old field that's now a fairly mature cedar thicket, which could easily be recleared to make food plots or a larger field for serious homesteading/animals. Privacy and peace with tons of wildlife!

Tract 2, 12.0 Acres -$84,000: This tract contains a cleared potential home site, which actually was an old home site decades ago. It could easily be cleared larger. Also near the entrance closest to electric, but other sites could be made in many places if desired. Mostly gently rolling land in hardwoods. The north and west borders to be 60' width roadways.

Tract 3, 11.9 Acres -$88,000: This tract contains a cleared potential home site, with only a few stumps to be removed. It could easily be cleared larger. There is a large food plot. Mostly gently rolling land in hardwoods with some cedar thicket around the food plot/field. This food plot was an old homestead site decades ago, and you may see remnants of an old water well, internal fencing, etc at the West end.

Tract 4, 19.8 Acres -$129,000: This tract contains the largest food plot of the entire farm. (Trail cam pics with the blue feeder are from tract 4). It was just mowed and planted in 2023 also. You can pick a spot to clear for your cabin or home. Most any "green" tree area in the aerial photo are old gentle sloping fields. Mostly gently rolling land in hardwoods with some cedars/pines for extra cover for the immense wildlife. Borders an old overgrown field to the north which provides a huge bedding or nesting area.
